Named after the famous Dien Hong Hall in history, it evokes the image of the place where King Tran Nhan Tong and Emperor Thanh Tong held a historic conference to unite the strength of the entire nation and consolidate the will to resist foreign invaders. It honors and venerates the spirit of “great unity” of Đại Việt (ancient Vietnam) during the Trần Dynasty, with the great King Tran Nhan Tong as the soul of this unity — a symbol of Vietnam’s will and strength in defeating the most powerful invading forces of that time. The Trần Dynasty had brilliant military strategies and tactics to repel invaders and a generation of brave and talented generals. However, the key to their success in three defeats of the Mongol Yuan forces, the strongest army in the world at the time, was the “great unity” of the people, with King Trần Nhân Tông as the central leader, who twice led the nation to victory in 1285 and 1288.
The Dien Hong Ballroom is magnificent, resembling a palace from the Tran Dynasty, with spacious halls and large corridors equipped to host events. The unique feature here is the handwoven carpet, covering thousands of square meters, which is made as a single continuous piece. At any given time, the Diên Hồng Ballroom can host multiple events simultaneously as the large hall can be divided into smaller meeting rooms with movable partitions.
Groups, businesses, and organizations that hold events here are inspired by the spirit of Dien Hong from the past, fostering unity, building teams, and working towards future success and common goals.
