Explore the Sacred Yên Tử Mountain

Within the day

Yên Tử has long been chosen by generations of Zen masters and hermits as a place for spiritual practice. More notably, in the 13th century, Emperor Tran Nhan Tong renounced the throne and went to Yên Tử to meditate, founding the Truc Lam Zen sect. Since then, the Sacred Yên Tử Mountain has been regarded as the capital of Vietnamese Buddhism, a place that every Vietnamese feels drawn to return to.

Coming to Yên Tử, following in the footsteps of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong, you not only relive historical memories at the places he visited over 700 years ago, but also calm your mind to fully appreciate the valuable spiritual heritage left by him and the Zen masters.
