Yen Tu Spring Festival 2025 Opening Ceremony

The Yen Tu Spring Festival 2025 will officially begin on the 10th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Snake (February 7, 2025) at the Truc Lam Cultural Center (Thuong Yen Cong Commune, Uong Bi City) and will last for three months.

Yen Tu has always been a sacred land in the memory of the Vietnamese people, where King Tran Nhan Tong chose to meditate and established the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect, reflecting the essence of Vietnamese culture. The annual Yen Tu Spring Festival serves as a reminder for the generations to remember their roots, show respect and gratitude to their ancestors, and pray that King Tran Nhan Tong will continue to bless the nation with peace and prosperity. It also encourages the preservation and promotion of the precious traditional cultural values passed down by our ancestors.

We sincerely invite all monks, Buddhists, and visitors from near and far to join the Opening Ceremony of the Yen Tu Spring Festival 2025 with the following events:

February 6, 2025 (9th day of the first lunar month of the Year of the Snake):
